Ashley is a 2011 graduate of Penn Foster with a certification as a Veterinary Assistant. She has been with us since the practice opened in 2015. Her veterinary interests include porcupine quill removals and making sure that the clinic is always looking beautiful. When Ashley isn’t in the clinic you will find her spending time with her beloved chihuahua Gizmo or at the racetrack cheering on her favorite driver.

Laura started working in the veterinary field in 2004 as a veterinary assistant. She continued to develop her technical skills and began working as a technician a few years later. Now she splits her time between working as a tech and helping to manage the day to day workings of the office as the office manager. Her veterinary interests include emergency/critical care medicine, client education and behavior. When not at the office, you will find Laura with her husband and young daughter traveling or at home making cards or crafting. Laura has a rambunctious blue heeler mix (Geno) and 2 cats (Jackson and Coraline).

Sam is a 2015 graduate of Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh, Pa and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She is from the Brockway area and always had a special interest in 4H, FFA and local Agriculture and Youth groups. Her interests here at the clinic include venipuncture, large animal medicine, customer service, nutrition and dentistry. When not at work Sam enjoys outdoor hobbies including hunting, farming and fairing and stays busy as a mom to twin toddlers. In addition, Sam has a large crew of fur babies both large and small including her dogs (Bubba, Diesel, Skylar and Ranger), cats (Cleatus, Garfield, Kiki, Luna, Blue and Fluffy McFlufferson), rabbits (Bingo, Rolly and Dually), chickens (Henrietta(s) and Henry) and her dairy cattle.

Michaela is a 2015 Graduate of Clarion University with a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus on pre-veterinary medicine. She grew up in the Cambridge Springs area and moved to the Clarion area after college. She has been working as a technician since 2015 and has plans to return to school to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Her interests include diagnostic testing, exotic animal medicine, surgery and radiology. Michaela is a fan of running, outdoor activities and special effects make-up. She also has a special interest in spending time with her lovable but awkward beagle mix Patrick, her attention seeking kitty Tilly and her 3 little rat cuties Iris, Uma and Flossy.

Samantha (Sami) is a 2016 graduate of Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh, Pa and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. Born in Wurzburg, Germany, this army brat now resides in the Punxsutawney area. She joined our practice in 2017 and has a special interest in zoology, preventative care and surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys playing trumpet and piano and has a passion for cooking and being outdoors.

Monique is a 2010 graduate of Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh, Pa. She has worked with various non-profits and small veterinary hospitals but took a break from the field to pursue other interests. She is now working back in the veterinary field doing what she loves the most. Monique enjoys working with exotics and farm animals and has a special interest in veterinary dentistry. When she isn’t spending time with her cats SoCo and Pip, Monique enjoys reading, hiking and baking.

Danie has been working in the veterinary field as an assistant and technician since the fall of 2017. She has always loved animals and spent 3 years training dogs at Petco. She is an AKC certified dog trainer and AKC CGC and STAR puppy elevator. Danie was born and raised in the DuBois area and after some time living in North Carolina she is back in the area and working to obtain her veterinary technician certification. Danie has a special interest in feline medicine and is a self proclaimed “crazy cat lady”! Although she enjoys working with dogs she says that cats hold a special place in her heart and that she has a goal for all cats to feel comfortable when they come into the vet. In her spare time she enjoys reading, enjoying Paint and Sip classes with friends and staying busy at her hair tinsel business. She shares her home with her border collie mix Beya and her 8 cats (we told you that she’s a crazy cat lady!) Boo, Bindi, Binx, Peep, Pebbles, Hootie, Lemon and Cricket.
